Astrology of Celebrity Weddings
Courteney Cox and David Arquette
June 12, 1999
San Fransisco, California
time: unknown (chart set at noon)
This is a good example of what wedding date not to
choose. The time of the wedding is unknown but definitely
the Moon is in Gemini, along with the Sun, making this a
new moon day. This is a nice combination to have, and
normally would go a long way in helping the marriage.
However, if David and Courteney were married within a few
hours of noon, the Moon is in opposition to Pluto. This
suggests power struggles and strong emotional conflicts.
This couples wedding chart has another strongly negative
aspects; that of Venus opposite Neptune. When these two
are in harmonious aspect, its wonderful, but with the
opposition there are many stresses and conflicts as the to
“rightness” of the marriage and staying together. The only
other positive to this marriage chart is the loose grand trine
in air, involving the Sun, Mars and Uranus. If this aspect
pattern is in good house position and by rulership, this
marriage has a much better chance. And hopefully, the two
powerful oppositions are not sitting at an angle.
In astrology, the wedding chart has a chart of its own. It is considered
to be different from the couples synastry - in many ways it has its own
identity. A wedding chart won't make or break a relationship but it
can be a big help or a huge hindrance to a harmonious relationship.
