Ascendant

We at Vega Attractions take a different approach to the
interpretation of Ascendants than many other astrologers. Most
astrologers interpret the Ascendant as how the person is seen
by others. We at Vega attribute this to the Midheaven, and
believe that the Ascendant is how you see yourself. But it is
not just how you see yourself, it is also how you think you
should be and what you strive to be. In many ways this belief of
Vega is a reasonable one. The placement of the Ascendant
sets up the rest of the chart and each corresponding house
describes specific areas of your life. The tenth house, which is
where the Midheaven is usually found, describes your
reputation, i.e. how others see you.

Midheaven

We at Vega Attractions have a different approach to the
interpretation of the Midheaven. We believe that instead of the
Ascendant, the Midheaven describes how others see you. It is
how you see yourself interacting in a social environment. The
Midheaven also describes what role or function you think you
perform in society. It is how you wish to fit in. In many ways this
makes sense as the Midheaven is typically associated with
your reputation.
