An Idea or the desperation of a singleton
Natal Chart:  This is a "snapshot" of
the sky on the persons date of birth.
Our two Vega Attractions astrologers were talking one day and examining
a friends chart.  Specifically, they were looking at the friends chart and her
new boyfriends chart and comparing the two to see how harmonious their
relationship would be.  This aspect of astrology, called love astrology or
compatibility by Vega Attractions, is known as synastry.  The friend and her
boyfriend had amazing compatibility together.   One astrologer, single and
looking, remarked she wished she could find someone and wouldn't it be
great if astrology could tell her who that someone was?  The other
astrologer replied "well, why not?"  and the idea was born.  The two
astrologers sat down to figure out a very complex idea:  a new astrology
system of comparing two charts for the most harmonious and emphatic
elements between the two charts.
Synastry: the study of two charts.
Usually done to evaluate potential
romantic relationships.
A New System
First, the two astrologers had to come to an agreement about what was
important in determining compatibility between two charts.  This is not as
easy as it sounds.  There are many complex aspects to astrology and even
more opinions on their interpretations.   Our astrologers decided that
empathy, similarities and the number of connections were most important in
comparing two charts.  This differs from many other synastry systems, that
emphasizes communication above everything else.  With the philosophy that
people in relationships communicate just fine, even if its negatively, the
astrologers set to tackle the next important question - who is the best?
Who's the best?
That is, of the hundreds of thousands of birth charts, who was best suited for
each other? We at Vega Attractions believe there might be The Best one our
there for each person, but there is surely many others who are almost as good.
So the astrologers decided that they needed to create a scoring system when
comparing two charts together.  After months of research, late night delirium,
and many rejections, our two astrologers came up with the Day Search
astrology system.
The Day Search Compatibility Score
Day Search is a very complex and time consuming process our astrologers use to
find everyone's best mates.  For each customer, our astrologers search through
twelve years of birth charts (4,380 charts), and single out the customers best
birthday matches to complete our Day Search scoring system.  After comparing
the two natal charts together, a score is given to estimate the likely compatibility
between the charts.  The complexity of the scoring system is further complicated by
our astrologers recognizing and implementing the fact that each Day Search
customer is unique and so is their natal chart.  Some charts are more naturally
harmonious with other charts.  In the same way, some charts are less naturally
harmonious with other charts.  Like many of the people you know, some seem to
have an easy life, while others have a hard one.  Astrology and more specifically
the natal chart reflects this.
The Good, Bad and Ugly (Scores)
Good
A good score can range anywhere from 20 to 125, depending on the type
of chart a person has (easy or hard).  A hard chart's compatibility score
might range from 20 to 40, while an easy chart's compatibility score might
range from 30 to 100.  After examining the range of compatibility scores
for the customers chart, the Vega astrologer gives the customer the best
10 to 20 scores (depending on the number of scores).  Often a customer
will get a range of scores, for example, 20 to 60, but will get 1 or 2
unusually high numbers, like 90.  This unusually high number, called an
outliner, could be "The Best" or the "One".  However, we don't recommend
ignoring all your other scores -- they are also very compatible with you.
Bad
Do the astrologers come across "bad" scores?  It rare in our search
because the Day Search scoring system is well developed.  Bad scores
between two charts happen occasionally but our astrologers don't include
them on their list.  As a Day Search Customer, you will not receive any bad
scores on your report.

Ugly
However, our 1 Day Search report will often give bad or just plain ugly
scores.  The 1 Day Search compares two peoples chart and gives them a
compatibility score-- no search involved.  A popular saying that seems to
be reflected in astrology is that "opposites attract".  It doesn't mean they
are compatible though!

The worst score we have come across is a -63 (minus 63).
The highest score was 140.
Whats in a Name?
Why choose the name Vega Attraction Astrology?  What does Vega mean?
Vega has many meanings.  It is a star, in Spanish it means mountains and
in astrology is means Mercury (communication) and Venus (love) like.  So
literally our name means Mercury and Venus like, Attractions or
communication and love Attractions.
Another aspect we considered in choosing our name was numerology.  We
wanted our name to equal the number 6, which is ruled by the planet Venus.
In astrology the planet Venus rules love.  Our full name, Vega Attractions
LLC = the number 6.
